After tearing off a part of the cover, you can insert it into the back cover of another ToNoTe. ToNoTe allows you to carry two or more notebooks, each dedicated to a certain subject. When you are finished with your notes you can attach them all together. ToNoTe has the size of a standard Japanese paperback, which fits nicely on your bookshelf.
